Years ago, we identified an opportunity to do this by modifying the official Commander banlist page to include short, easy-to-understand explanations for why each card earned its spot on the banlist

Genn Greymane and Baku The Mooneater are cards that grant a bonus effect to your deck as long as you follow the deck-building rules they require, in this case, Genn only having even-numbered cards in the deck and Baku only having odd-numbered cards
I don't think its crazy good, but its fantastic and I will be running it
It leads to a group slug/burn-y playstyle that has great colors and constantly adds card advantage- let's face it, 90% of players will feel that discarding a card feels worse than giving you one, regardless of how untrue that may be
Puresteel Paladin is similarly fantastic, giving you free equips permanently as long as you have three artifacts around
