then ultimately decided she was the perfect candidate for being overdyed

This top features an unfinished quilt TOP that was hand-pieced with lots of beautiful calico and shirting fabrics (it does not have batting or backing) in a classic 'Duck and Ducklings’ pattern

This quilt shows its age in the form of fading and areas with fabric degradation/exposed batting that are consistent with having lived a well-loved life as a quilt before becoming a coat

The binding fabric is particularly perfect and came from a treasure trove of remnants sent by my pals at Toad & Co Clothing
