Struck for Emperor Hadrian at the Rome Mint between 134 138 CE. 3. 43g, RIC 282, RSC 1455. Excellent laureate portrait. Certified by NGC to XF. Obverse: HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, laureate bust facing right. Reverse: VICTORIA AVG, Victory advancing right drawing out fold of dress and pointing downward with branch. Victory was the personification of military triumph by the Roman Legions.
