Kaiyo The Peated 1000ml introduced in 2013 for theKaiyo is the brainchild of Jeff Karlovitch, a long time master blender for Bunnahabhain and more recently for the Lost Distillery experiment. Jeff buys the white spirits in Japan and is responsible for blending and ageing them. Kaiy Peated Malt is a whisky with subtle smokiness and soft honey sweetness. Its aged in Mizunara Oak and ex Madeira wine casks, giving it complex fruit and spice character.
