There is some slight crazing to the paint in places but otherwise the canvas itself remains in an excellent condition with no paint losses

The fruitwood has a wonderful age and patina to it

bound in tan crocodile leather with a hollowed out base in which the lenses sit with a central support to keep the binoculars in place
