NAMBU WINKING IRON OWL 75" W x 8" toCast iron Mimizuku winking owl ornament for use as a paperweight or display item. Created by third generation forger Nobuho Miya. A master craftsman of nambu tetsu, or traditional cast iron, Nobuho Miya works from his Kamasada ironware studio, founded by one of his ancestors in the Meiji era. It is said that it takes at least 15 years to become a decent ironware maker, and 40 years to become a master craftsman. What makes Mr. Miya's work unique are
