Mine Safety Appliances Ammonia Respiratory Mask Carrying Case originally published in 1912 andHere is a vintage carrying case that once housed a mask manufactured by Mine Safety Appliances Company out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The mask was intended to protect the user against ammonia poisoning. The red box has black metal corners and a leather handle. The box latches closed securely. It is in good condition with normal dust build up and signs of use and wear. Dimensions: 9" L x 6. 5" W x 13" H
