The boysenberry plant (Rubus ursinus x Rubus idaeus) is a cross between loganberry, dewberry, raspberry, and blackberry plants. Its large purplish black fruits have a lovely blackberry flavour, but the plants are thornless, so picking is easy. Boysenberries thrive in full sun and prefer well drained, fertile soil. They are easy to grow but benefit from a sturdy support system, such as a trellis or fence. Each fruit, grown on a
