1970-78 Camaro/Firebird Steering Shaft w/Rag Joint HT9799FPC Part# W-088Intermediate Steering Shaft installs between the steering box and steering column on all 1970 78 Camaros & Firebirds. Brand new part includes rag joint for like new appearance and improved steering wheel feel over a worn out part. Will not fit on 1979 81 steering columns, the steering column connection is different (see picture gallery). Includes bolt at steering box but not bolt needed at the column (reuses original). Installs just like the original.
