The main reason these are not so appealing is that most of the green token decks seem to want to abuse Cryptolith Rite and similar cards which effectively turns Llanowar Elves into Willow Elf

While there are better options for this type of effect, having one stapled to your commander is always handy in a pinch

If you can spot the good cards players are underrating early, though, you're going to have a very good time until the herd catches up
