VIKING COIL RING C.850-1050 AD, SIZE 9 14 1/2 Band tapers from 3Gold over bronze. One and one sixteenth turns, 1. 4mm width with round face and ridged edges. Size 9. Slightly worn from use and burial. Made by the lost wax process, coil beads, rings, and other adornment elements were very popular in Viking culture. Due to its age, resizing is not advised. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored, for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
