Description

The use of bright colours create the theatrical artwork

This artwork is created by photographing the lid of a plastic disposable food container in which left over dinner was stored while cooling down

With this in mind I set up a series of leaves and petals on butter paper

so the stick figure was added and the composition of a group of people set the scene Rosie showing off her pose

The colours of the burnt car metal and its texture formed the starting canvas

Can you tie up my laces dear? Australian original art print. duet players The use of bright coloursI was asked to create an artwork by Thornton Brothers Roses of Thirlmere. The white Dahlia stood out against the rusty old veggie trough. The shadows created another character which looked like a little old lady with her hat. To show off the flower best, I detailed her to be bending over in her tutu. The bud became the girls head and the stems were her arm, tying up her mothers shoe laces. You can see her holding onto the the ballerina for balance.
