We created these earrings by adding 14k gold enamel surmounts from an antique brooch above antique hand carved shell cameos (circa 1890). One of the cameos depicts Venus, the Roman goddess of love, and the other depicts Psyche, the goddess of the soul who is often depicted with butterfly wings.
