'Salisbury Cathedral - In The Style of John Constable' by G. Knight. Large Oil Painting. The Library A L'Epee French brass 11This is 'Salisbury Cathedral In The Style of John Constable 1831' by G. Knight, 1980. The oil painting is of large proportions (see below). The oil is painted on canvas with an ornate gilt frame. Note the frame clips to the rear of the canvas, giving the illusion of a full backed frame (please see photographs). The painting remains in a very good condition. The size of this artwork makes it particularly striking. A lovely piece of Salisbury local
