The dish has some very light signs of wear commensurate with age but generally remains in an excellent condition throughout, free from chips and cracks. The exterior is unglazed to give the appearance of pastry, and boasts game and foliate detail with a well formed rabbit figure laying upon the lid next to a steam hole.
