German School, Portrait Of A Gentleman With A Pipe Large 517 achieved for ‘Pferdeportrat: "Goldmaid"A characterful early 20th century portrait of a man smoking a pipe. He sports a carefully coiffured moustache and beard. The style is quite informal so perhaps this is a self portrait or another creative that the artist knew. Interestingly, theres a study on the reverse. The portrait is housed within a good later frame. Medium: Oil on boardOverall size: 12 x 15 32cm x 39cmYear of creation: c. 1920Provenance: GermanyCondition: Good. One minor loss
