灰被りや窯変の豊かな景色を呈しています。茶室の床の間におさまりのよい大きさです。

蓮文が彫られています。よく使い込まれていて飴色になっており、竹の角は丸くしてあり、細やかな部分まで丁寧に作られています。

作為のない静かなる佇まいです。左右非対称で歪んでおり、花を呼びます。
