Any creature that comes under your control has summoning sickness the turn you obtain control of it, even if it was a non-creature permanent before becoming a creature (thats why even vehicle commanders have summoning sickness, too)
The front side of Ballista Watcher is pretty bad: sure, you can pick off a random utility creature like Birds of Paradise, but you have to spend 3 mana and tap it, not great
The two-drop above is Bear size and then vigilance and then has boosted size equal to your graveyard count, vigilance there is nasty
Play them early, use them as chump blockers, clog up the board
Yes, only drawing two cards from this isnt the biggest hand refill, but the ability to give a large creature trample without going down in cards helps you keep up with the rest of the table
