Victron Energy BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor - Bluetooth Connection Kayak and canoe racks LeisureLineWith Bluetooth built in, the BMV Smart is Internet ready. With Bluetooth being implemented in most other Victron Energy products, wireless communication between products will simplify system installation and enhance performance. A battery monitor's main function is to follow and indicate the DoD (depth of discharge), in particular to prevent unexpected total discharge. A battery monitor keeps track of the current flowing in and out of the battery.
