李朝の木彫印章は、文房具や実用具であると同時に、持ち主の趣味や祈り、護符的な感覚を帯びたものでもありました。本品も、獅子形の力強い姿と、長く使い込まれた木肌の艶がよく残る一品です。

肩から胴に掛けての膨らみに、赤褐色と火色の黒の景色を呈しています。

ぐにゃりと口がひしゃげ、花を呼ぶ佇まい。
