000 vines per hectare
tasted 6/2024
Here too there is a relatively supple mid-palate mouthfeel to the slightly finer broad-shouldered flavors that possess a gorgeous texture
Notes of lead pencil shavings
The medium to full-bodied palate is very tightly knit with exquisitely pixilated
Dana Estate Lotus Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 750mL (Tissue Stained Label) Rhone 000 vines per hectare"Deep garnet colored, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Lotus Vineyard (containing 7% Petit Verdot) offers up a gorgeous nose of fruitcake, potpourri and dried herbs over a core of crme de cassis, blueberry compote and raspberry tart. Medium to full bodied, finely structured and with great freshness and approachability, it gives a wonderful core of muscular fruit and a long, mineral laced finish."
