Damascus Sloyd Carving Axe with Hand Textured Head bushcraft_knife Nakiri Knife — Dedicated vegetableA Damascus Sloyd Carving Axe is not a small chopping axe. That difference matters more than most buyers expect. Camp hatchets are built to split wood apart. Carving axes are built to remove thin, controlled slices. Try carving a spoon with a splitting hatchet, and you will fight it all day. The geometry works against you. This axe was shaped for the opposite job entirely. Once you hold the right tool, carving stops feeling like work. Sloyd carving
