Unforgettable
A knockout 2013 with an extraordinarily seamless texture and outstanding fullness in the mouth
yet do your best to give bottles 3-5 years
mostly Darnajou barrels with a sprinkling of Taransaud
Colgin Cariad 2019 750mL Champagne tasted 1/2013"The 2019 Cariad is outrageously beautiful right out of the gate. Soaring aromatics and gorgeous fruit race out of the glass, all supported by bright acids and vibrant tannins that lend energy. In 2019, the Cariad is truly exceptional. As always, most of this fruit is from David Abreu's Madrona Ranch. There is a feeling of dimension and breadth here that is truly remarkable." Vinous, AG100, tasted 10 2021
