Betty Size:M116 Bright green although develops aA cider apple with a Bramley like aroma and good flavour. Primrose yellow with darker yellow orange blush. Crisp, juicy and sharp. Flowers mid May and drops mid late September. Specifically bred by Liz Copas and Ray Williams at the Long Ashton Research Station in Somerset to provide England's commercial cider industry and one of the popularly named 'Girls' cider varieties since the majority had female names.
