We bought the frames which were once part of a screen and found that these hand painted and embroidered Tree of Life panels fitted

tactile double length snake chain kept in place with silver bands

Probably taken from a tall chair back

From France they have a look and feel of earlier hand block printed chintzes but these have been screen printed at a later time and we think they date from around 1930

Hand made in China circa 1910 20 it is a highly decorative panel which would look good hung on a wall as a hanging. The condition is very good for an antique rug from this era. There is one hole , which we can repair, and the top and bottoms edges are unfinished and would benefit from being hemmed or turned, this is a service we are pleased to be
