For seven mana you get an on curve 7/7 with four powerful keywords - flying (evasion), vigilance (very strong in multiplayer swinging at people in the air for Commander Damage and then holding the fort), deathtouch (no one wants to block) lifelink (nice double life swing for that 7 damage.)
This Parun debuted in 2018s Guilds of Ravnica set and marked the third-ever Niv-Mizzet card after 2006s Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind and 2012s Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius
(10/2/2025) "Flashback [cost]" means "You may cast this card from your graveyard by paying [cost] rather than paying its mana cost" and "If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack." (10/2/2025) You must still follow any timing restrictions and permissions, including those based on the card's type
Some examples of where this card shines include Haakon, Stromgald Scourge, Aryel, Knight of Windgrace, Sidar Jabari of Zhalfir, Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale, and many others in commander
Its a bit of a weaker Oblation and a weaker Swords to Plowshares
