I had the privilege to play Rancor back when it was legal for Standard (called Type 2 back in the day), and let me tell you it was an awesome way to turn your weenies into threats and turn your threats into game-winners

Really cool with a sacrifice outlet, even cooler with counter removal, and there's a world where this guy is a sleeper hit for Voltron aficionados
This Legendary Creature card has a high cost to play, but it is very much worth it with the game-shattering effect of giving your Creatures plus two / plus two while giving your foes Creatures negative two / negative two, which has shown itself to be absolutely game-defining in the Commander format
