offensive mtg cards card I like for no reason : r/freemagic Weakness from Beta (1993), Unlimited

At a minimum, it counters a surprise Heroic Intervention

Scry A low impact mechanic that simply helps up the consistency of your draws and has no impact on the gamestate at all

(2/5/2021) Because exiling a card with foretell from your hand is a special action, you can do so any time you have priority during your turn, including in response to spells and abilities

Tarkir: Dragonstorm takes that trend and cranks it up another notch, with the Dragonscale foil fetchlands being the perfect storm of people needing them, people wanting them, and having a low drop rate

Peter Pan Lost Boy Leader While you only get one of these in the Amber/Emerald Into the Inklands Starter deck, its certainly one of your strongest cards

Overwhelming Stampede - If your board is full of big Simic creatures or tokens from cards like Koma and Aesi, Overwhelming Stampede can end the game quickly
