This isn't the most exciting equipment in the world if you have to pay the full three mana to cast it and then two more to equip, but doing both for just two mana and cheating the otherwise detrimental discard effect of another card sounds pretty appealing to me in the right deck
Now on to the card value tools
As long as Magic remains healthy and popular, there will be rare and expensive cards like these
When this card is activated: Look at the top 3 cards of your Deck, then you can reveal 1 "Dark Magician" or 1 Spell/Trap Card that specifically lists the card "Dark Magician", among them, and add it to your hand, also place the remaining cards on top of your Deck in any order
It's pretty good, as it fixes one of the most broken abilities of all time, Phyrexian mana, that traded cheaper spells for life that no one cared about, and despite only being on a small number of cards became a big impact on various formats some of which were banned
Hearing people excited to try out Firion from Final Fantasy II 27 years after it originally released in Japan is so cool
