I'm not sure what the desire to play around with these sorts of effects is, because they're either immensely annoying, or they win on the spot with the right set-up
Buried Alive costs the most to cast, but also fetches 3 specific cards for 3 mana, a rate that is unparalleled
It packs a strong punch, offers reach via the discard ability, and its really difficult to deal with for most decks
I've managed to get a couple people in the door and past the tutorial phase of the game only to lose them when they realized their lousy starter decks have a pretty terrible win rate
This led to victories as early as turn 2 or 3
Only copies of Basic Lands can appear more than once in a Commander deck, which can make it a bit difficult for you to find your most powerful cards consistently
