But none of these cohere into a decisive winning strategy

The three prebuilt decks launched as part of Lorcanas debut set The First Chapter are all designed to offer a balanced and fair experience if youre looking to jump into the trading card game as fast as possible

However, the deck's core style is still fairly approachable - and it can run away with wins against other starter decks

Characters like Gramma Tala Storyteller and Mickey Mouse Detective net you some extra Ink early on so you can drop big hitters like Maui Demigod and Simba Fighting Prince

The special foil of Ariel Singing Mermaid is an excellent choice for the art

Sapphire and Steel can be a little trickier to manage if youre brand new to TCGs, due to its reliance on building up ink as quickly as possible - using the abilities of cards like Mickey Mouse, Detective, which allows you to add an extra card from your deck to your inkwell when played - to afford more expensive cards
