This is a poorly suited removal spell in most senses

That gives it a distinct weakness, though you could try playing around it with cards like Teferi, Time Raveler to minimize the value your opponents get

This card was a killer in Invasion Block Limited as well

However, there are decks like Merfolk Tribal that are going to play a ton of Islands anyways

Many are also wizards, and there's something about watching sea dogs be mystical that just hits that cute note so well

The ability speeds everything up, though you can rely on other Ring-tempting cards to maximize The Ring and then just try to sneak in hits with evil Frodo
