This card is the perfect lynchpin for an aggressive, sacrifice-driven strategy, often referred to as an aristocrats deck
These include cards such as Avatar Aang (flying, firebending, transform), Aang, at the Crossroads (Ally fetch, transform), Boiling Rock Rioter (firebending, Ally reanimate), Earth King's Lieutenant (+1/+1 counters), Fire Lord Zuko (firebending, +1/+1 counters), General Tazri (Ally fetch, anthem effect), Hakoda (cast Allies out of your deck, protection), Katara, the Fearless (double triggers), Katara, Water Tribe (vigilance, 1/1 counters, waterbend), Sokka (menace, prowess, 1/1 tokens), and many more
Creatures (9) Planeswalkers (2) Lands (18) Spells (31) Okos particularly good in the Urza mirrors, where an Oko on the battlefield can lock the opponent out of playing an Urza unless they can win immediately because the threat of stealing Urza would be too costly
Cavalry Charge The whopping five Commander decks released alongside March of the Machine were pretty hit-and-miss, but Cavalry Charge was a certified banger
