Ikoria cards being reviewed: Vivien, Monsters Advocate Call of the Death-Dweller Mythos of Nethroi Drannith Magistrate Lavabrink Venturer Fiend Artisan Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy Indatha Triome Bonders Enclave Bonus: Guest Choices Reviewers: Jordan Munson (author of Maverick on a Budget) Miranda Keith Connery Knox (Achillies27) Alex (Peach) Jono Yanik (Dreadnaught33) Tyrik Strachan Lorkac (Maverick Discord regular) MatsOle Douges Vivien, Monsters Advocate This card will probably not see play: MatsOle: I think Vivien needs to be extremely good at 5 mana, and I fear that since the creatures she creates dont have haste, youre better off playing Nissa, Vital Force , as sweepers are a bigger problem for Maverick than value decks
It can certainly become a game about minor advantages in combat math and about finding and playing your creature removal in the right time
Made from Premium Polypropylene Material (PP) Features: Different character design, some styles covered with flash film on the front
Not only will this card see play in Grixis Affinity though, but I can also see this springing up new Black based Affinity deck or maybe being a part of a Rack style of discard/lockout strategy
Rather than "Autobot", the Universes Beyond cards use the more generic "Robot" subtype, introduced in the Unfinity set the previous month
Maybe vigilance and trample is enough to sweeten the pot and get us interested, but I doubt it
