mtg tribute cards Mage (Retro Frame) (Foil Etched) - Modern Horizons put it into your hand Tribute to the World Tree

This was a way of playing Magic, back in MTG's earliest days, where you would essentially 'gamble' your cards on the outcome of a game

Including cards from the D&D sets that allow you to roll a D20 increase your chances of activating all its triggered abilities and fits the theme of a more chaotic deck

While its true that ThOracle can end the game as soon as it hits the field, most self-mill decks would combo out to draw their entire library and win the game with Laboratory Maniac or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries just as easily as they did with ThOracle

This promo does not have a watermark in the oracle text and instead features the DCI logo within the art frame itself

They also might have a high ceiling or a low ground for how powerful it can get

its effectively a free counterspell, so immediate comparisons were made to Force of Will and Force of Negation
