Quickbeam, Upstart Ent Quickbeam, Upstart Ent works well both in a treefolk typal deck and commanding one

Signaling is a complicated concept, and an in-depth discussion is a topic for another time (but see Marshall Sutcliffe's "Signals")

This spell makes you draw a card for each Human you control

The deck is so rigidly built around these mechanics that it feels hard to identify just one or two big upgrades to improve its power, and instead, you would need to chop and change a considerable chunk of the deck to make meaningful improvements

Even one damage can really turn the game if it comes out when you need it most

You do get the option to discard a card and draw to manipulate your deck somewhat, but the payoff will depend on how many Instants you can pull from on opponents turns
