Damping Sphere gives us some hate against Tron, Storm, and Amulet Titan

As such, this is more interesting as a card that you snag a copy of for personal use, or keep on your radar as something to pick up whenever you see it underpriced for long term gains

Drawing off of your opponents' non-creature cards plus a cumulative upkeep is obviously nowhere near as good as Rhystic Study, but you'd be surprised the amount of cards you can draw from this little guy especially when you get it down on turn one or two

Any life gained continues to be a focus with infusion and other cards from Secrets of Strixhaven like Eccentric Pestfinder, Scheming Silvertongue, and Defiling Daemogoth

In Mystery Booster 2 , you'll find one of these in every booster, complete with original artwork from the talented artists at Volta

Glamdring makes one of your creatures extra beefy, and if it hits you can cast an extra instant or sorcery (and make one more Drake)
