A mediocre reveal could cause these Collector Boosters to tank back down
Like most Pokmon cards, the value of Mewtwo depends on a few consistent factors: its rarity, the printing and finish (regular or foil), its physical condition, and the set it was printed in (Legends Awakened)
It also contains powerful yet fair cards like Greater Good, Miraris Wake, and Vicious Shadows
Like in the books and series, plots abound After a solid first edition, the more recent second edition of the game cut out the chaff and doubled down on what makes it worth picking up, and has continued to be supported with regular packs of cards and content since - though recent rumblings suggest the games long-running expansions may be coming to an end soon, so its definitely worth seeking them out before they require a Lannisters fortune to buy
The banning conversation has a few Faithless Looting loyalists that defend its existence in Modern, but I dont see how long they can keep this card on life support
Its also an affordable commander to build around that can be easily upgraded
