MTG Head Designer, Mark Rosewater, had previously talked up their expectations, which we all put down to the franchises popularity

And then they took that away from us by banning the card

The first stage of the saga lets it tap for colorless mana

From smooth coated finishes that enhance detailed artwork and sharp rules text to textured recycled boards and durable synthetic materials, each stock offers a different balance of shuffle feel, flexibility, and long-term handling durability

Its ability depends on power, not mana value, so you can reliably get ultra-powerful combo pieces like Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker out if you can get it to the bottom of your library

You are also limited to drawing cards only once on your turn, and only once barring something odd like Relentless Assault or double strike
