I would wait a little longer before buying but these are popular as hell
This card is perfect for this deck its two cheap blue spells to trigger Drowned Secrets, its a 1-mana Sorcery to help trigger Arclight Phoenix more quickly, and it gives you a realistic plan to start the self-mill engines if you havent found Drowned Secrets yet
Soltari Monk (Ext, S, Block) Shadow creatures usually ended up breaking the mana curve because Wizards costed them as if shadow were a drawback, not a massively useful evasion ability
For example, if Strata Scythe's imprint ability ("When this Equipment enters, search your library for a land card, exile it, then shuffle.") triggers twice (probably because it somehow entered attached to Cloud), up to two total land cards can be exiled
The creation of a token creature each turn is so versatile that this card can be found far and wide
Playable in Legacy and EDH alike, it costs only three mana and you can even decide to pay less mana and keep your bigger creatures alive
