LARGE 20TH CENTURY UPHOLSTERED BANQUETTE IN ANTIQUE HEMP End Table 5cm h] x 65cm wA handsome 20th Century French banquette. Upholstered in antique hemp and raised on reclaimed 19th Century carved hardwood cabriole legs terminating in stylised paw feet. The simple upholstered form contrasts beautifully with the sculptural timber legs and their rich patina, creating a piece of considerable character.
