How does this happen, I hear you ask

WotC didn't like having to limit themselves when creating cards, out of fear that fair cards would be used to tutor or reuse unfair ones

This MTG set was designed exclusively for draft and came out in 2016

Yusei also uses a large amount of cards which allow him to draw additional cards like "Shock Draw" and "Overflowing Treasure" which help him gather his various strategies and Synchro Material Monsters easier

Its more of a love letter than a contained narrative, similar to 2022s Warhammer 40k Universes Beyond decks

LIMIT OVER COLLECTION THE HEROES focuses on cards associated with protagonist characters and introduces the striking new Overframe card design, where elements of the artwork extend beyond the traditional illustration border for enhanced visual impact
