starter commander deck mtg Deck: Chaos Incarnate Unboxed featuring a powerful legendary commander card designed to control the battlefield with fiery spells and relentless creatures Is It Worth It To

This deck tops out at only a pair of Desecration Demons, but it has a ton of use for extra mana thanks to the Bestow brothers and the Scavenge ability on Dreg Mangler

Whether you think these cards should be banned or not, the point is that they are expensive, and for many decks, looking backwards provides as many (if not more ) solutions than looking forward would

This Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles card makes that even easier and will enable any deck that wants a way to reliably discard cards

Such an innocuous card at face value, Elvish Visionary has been the glue holding together a lot of the decks Ive played over the years

It nets multiple extra cards for free while slowing down other decks who want to be diligent about paying taxes

These special cards can appear in all boosters, and Id expect these to be really valuable due to the popularity of EDH
