mtg rin and seri commander deck Seri, Inseparable Cats and Dogs Tribal Tokens Magic Comman – CommanderComplete You gain life equal to the number of Cats you control. Rin and Seri, Inseparable |

Starter Decks were designed as the perfect entry point, providing a large pool of cards that allowed players to immediately build decks and begin playing

Flickering this red creature or pairing it up with other burn cards like Terror of the Peaks can make its ETB even more impactful

We ended the year with a trip to Theros, but it was the usually-unassuming summer Core Set that had the highlight of the year: Young Pyromancer

Then I added various Dragons, shored up the deck with spells and lands, and called it a day

Black and red also already synergize well with tokens, giving Magar another leg up

The only downside of it is drawing one in later stages where mana denial/taxing isnt relevant anymore, which I think is the main reason the card doesnt see more play
