Starting with a card in the former category, this Yellow A alternate art version of the Shaymin EX from Roaring Skies has jumped from $31 at the start of the year to $66 - and some copies have sold on TCGPlayer for as much as $160
Truly impressed with their professionalism
As for how much this card is going to run you, Eris Special Illustration Rare has a market price of $29 to $30
Aether Storm in Homelands had the text: No summon spells may be cast. In future reprints, it changed to creature spells cant be played. The first version of Future Sight stated that you can play the top card of your library. This terminology caused some confusion because play has multiple meanings: in play, play a card, play with the top of your library revealed, and so on
This can be done traditionally, with your creatures boosted up by Equipment capable of dealing large amounts of damage in one swing
They typically say something along the lines of whenever you draw a card and there are even cards that care about when you draw your second card each turn but those get their own list and you absolutely should read it after this one
