Honestly, it's a good thing that no one actually needs every version of every Magic card because even though Magic is the best game of all time, if you have $30,000 laying around, you can probably find something better to spend it on than one year's worth of cardboard
It's still a lot of extra power just for hitting land drops, which is a big deal in decks designed to get a bunch of extra lands into play
The other reason is that having cards restricted instead of banned force them to restrict other cards that would normally be fair
Verhey and Bowen mentioned there will be plenty of cards for Commander that care about rolling d20s and that doesnt even take into consideration the actual Commander products yet to be previewed
Even if you're only looking at Commander, this allows you to put a Sol Ring directly into play, but that's probably the tamest thing you can do with this thing
Magic: The Gathering has been introducing its upcoming all-animal plane featured in the upcoming Bloomburrow collection throughout the month ahead of its release next month, with the primary focus in recent days since July 9th being the reveal of the cards themselves and therefore an official introduction to the creatures players will fully experience soon enough
