As it stands today, Diablo is essentially the only character with the alternate shift mechanic being used commonly in the game
I can say almost the same thing about any publisher, regardless of medium or industry
For example, flying on a noncreature artifact is just strange, but hexproof on a noncreature artifact is entirely useful
In casual games or booster draft, that sacrifice is deceptively easy to do, but the same may not be true in Commander, where decks have a much lower density of legendary creatures and artifacts
Today this is a given thanks to the popularity of EDH
Thats right, we have another Commander deck for MTG that uses The Monarch as a way to draw more cards
