The combo creates a bunch of 1/1 tokens with Lingering Souls and then sacrifices them with Cartel Aristocrat , each time triggering 1 plus life to you and 1 minus life to your opponent with Blood Artist
Another two cards that I think are criminally underplayed in Commander are Energy Tap and Sacrifice because they are two of the most powerful rituals in the format in terms of how much they ramp (especially with an expensive Commander like Tiamat)
Avacyn, Angel of Hope Avacyn, Angel of Hope isnt cheap
Im surprised I dont see this more often, although its also understood that getting creatures in your graveyard is great because you can get them back out of there or take advantage of other mechanics like dredge or delve to get value
