Blastoise Special Deck Set ex includes three Standard decks, each one headlined by a Pokmon ex which is the final evolution of the first partner Pokmon of the Kanto region

This particular card was in mint condition and signed by the card's original artist, the late Christopher Rush, which greatly increased its already staggering value

On TCGPlayer this unique foil card has a market value of $9.03 USD

But this has the downside of putting your creature at risk of being blocked and killed

Then you want some recursion effects so that you can pluck the things you need out of the bin

This premium is driven by limited Japanese print runs, higher print quality that grades better at PSA/BGS, and exclusive Japanese-only sets that never receive English releases
