This is pretty good in itself but also, it gives vehicles and creatures entering the field a 1/1 counter if they have a mana value four or less

It will be interesting to see this incredible card's journey as more Iconic cards release, but for now it has earned it's high price point from collectors

You could combine it with cards like Bristlebane Battler to make more saprolings (or even better, to leech from an opponent that has that card and kill it later by doubling its counters)

All of these permanent versions of land animation carry the same pros and cons: we save mana and cards we would spend animating them again in future, but lose our advantage against sweepers
